AppointmentsOur new number: 0844 576 9008 The Appointment SystemWe are committed to a flexible system designed to meet the varying needs of our patients. Working with patients, we have identified improvements which have now be made to both the appointment system and the telephone system which supports it. This leaflet provides a guide to these new arrangements. The Telephone SystemThere is a new telephone number for Nork Clinic - 0844 576 9008. It will no longer be necessary to ring repeatedly as you will be automatically entered into a queue. There will be a menu of options which will guide you to the person dealing with the service you require. Please note that calls from BT land lines are charged at the normal local rate, but the cost of calls from a mobile phone may be higher and may vary according to your provider. Making An Appointment With The DoctorYou will be able to request an appointment with a doctor on the day of your call (including emergency appointments) Other ServicesIn the interest of fairness we will be treating appointments with doctors and nurses as the principal priority between 8:30am and 11am each day. For those services listed below we would ask that you phone after 11am.
How To Make An AppoinmentWe endeavour always to offer you an appointment within 48 hours Monday - Friday with one of our doctors. There are some routine appointments available that can be booked in advance, either by phoning the surgery or booking on-line. For same day appointments please phone the surgery from 8.30am. Cancelling An AppointmentIf for whatever reason you need to cancel an appointment, please contact the surgery as soon as possible. By failing to keep an appointment you may have denied someone in real need of one. |
